This workshop brings together students and instructors from MIT, Masdar Institute (MI, Abu Dhabi), and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), to explore architecture and design solutions that apply the principles of Solar Updraf Towers. Two situations are explored: the retroftting of an existing building, and the opportunities and challenges that exist in building SUTs as integral components in the fabric of cities.
